Ian Elliott
Operations and Supply Chain Director
Ian’s early career was spent with British Nuclear Fuels starting as a design engineer and finishing as a senior project manager for large nuclear installations. Ian made the unusual step from nuclear fuels to food in 1986 with Northern Foods before periods with Kerry Foods and Greencore. During Ian’s ‘food career’ he has progressed through various positions from Chief Engineer, Factory Manager, General Manager and Site Director and is currently Operations and Supply Chain Director for Rich Products Ltd.
Ian joined Rich’s as part of the 2005 acquisition of David Powell Bakeries. Ian says “We now have a company capable of accelerating progress and becoming a major player in the UK food business. Rich’s is a true family business with the ethics and standards we can all build on to create a profitable and secure future”.
Ian lives in Bournemouth on the sunny south coast with his wife Beverly. Ian has two children Adam 25 and Kimberley 19.Ian, once a top class athlete, now enjoys relaxing days at his beach hut on the coast, interspersed with various frenetic activities in the surf and frustrating walks on the golf course.
